Chamelaucium
Chamelaucium is also known as the waxflower. This is because of the properties of its stem. This is because the stem of Chamelaucium is rich in oils and make it feel waxy. Flowers grow on several branches and each flower has five leaves, often pink in colour. Another special feature of the chamelaucium is that there are needles on the stem that are super soft to the touch. The chamelaucium is native to South Asia and Australia and does well in hot areas. The waxflower is therefore often used in hot areas in Australia for bridal bouquets, as they last a long time.
